The Salute to Veterans Day Breakfast brings together people from all walks of life to celebrate the men and women who served in America’s armed forces, from the Revolutionary War down to the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. The event gathers notable film and television stars, prominent members of Corporate America, along with a full contingent of U.S. military active duty members and veterans. They all are honored to serve as witnesses to the swearing-in of our special guests, young men and women recruits into all five branches of the U.S. armed forces.
At this year’s event we will be honoring Ann-Margret with the Charles Durning Patriotism Award for her outstanding support of veterans. Last year’s Durning Award winner was Gary Sinise, an avid supporter of our military and our veterans. We will also present the Tommy Lasorda Award to a major supporter of veterans in the world of competitive sports and the Louis Zamperini Award to disabled veteran business owners whose achievements reflect the inspirational life of the Army veteran that the award is named for.
Not only is our annual Veterans Day Breakfast a way for a diverse group of Americans to celebrate and honor our nation’s greatest heroes, but it is also a place to see firsthand why we do what we do. The Beverly Hilton, scene of major Hollywood events including the Golden Globe Awards ceremony, will be providing a glamorous breakfast buffet and elegant service in a beautiful and historic setting.
We hope that you join us at next year’s event to honor the brave souls who fought, continue to fight, and will fight for our freedom. Get your tickets today!
