Keeping the Promise 2015 is in our rearview mirror and I am happy to say that it was a very successful event!  We had 302 people attend the conference and hosted approximately 50 expo booths and about 40 Matchmaking tables.  There were many
highlights including the VIP reception at the Aerospace Museum, our two distinguished keynote speakers (Dr. Raul Deju, renowned entrepreneur and Bill Driscol, Fighter Pilot Ace), and our inaugural “Elevator Pitch Contest.”

The feedback we received from the attendees has been very positive and we will be sending out a post conference survey soon to capture any lessons learned for our next event.  I heard from several buyers that they  were happy to  report that they  were able to  identify several  potential new  suppliers for  upcoming contract  opportunities.   

I know that many of the DVBEs in attendance were able to create new relationships or solidify current relationships which will result in new business opportunities down the road and allow them to build and maintain their business development pipeline.

As the Alliance expands its mission beyond the borders of California, we are excited to announce that Keeping the Promise 2016 will be in the Dallas Fort Worth area during the week of 23 May!  The event already has many top level sponsors and will be filled with high energy speakers, a business expo hall, Alliance 1:1 Matchmaking, and engaging break-out sessions targeted for businesses ranging from start-ups to those that are well established.  Stay tuned for more information as we get closer to the event.

Next month we will launch our training webinars in cooperation with our strategic sponsor BidSpeed.  We will be conducting a variety of training sessions on topics ranging from certification to Marketing to the Government.
