Keeping the Promise is a two-day business-focused event held each May features prominent and inspirational keynote speakers, and offers educational workshops, a business expo, matchmaking with prime contractors and state agency buyers, and a variety of valuable tools and business resources.
Attendees make valuable connections and have unprecedented opportunities for premier face-to-face networking opportunities. More than 700 attended KTP 2014 at which disabled veteran business owners were joined by companies seeking to work with them and other corporate sponsors, including Southern California Edison, Union Bank, AT&T, Lockheed Martin, Chevron, and Robert Half.
“Keeping the Promise” keeps alive President Abraham Lincoln’s call “to care for him who shall have borne the battle” in his second inaugural address a month before the Civil War ended. For the Alliance, a century and a half later, that means assisting disabled veterans as they successfully transition back to civilian life through entrepreneurship.
